While I have been a very satisfied user of FTXGlobal, FTXGlobal Vector improves areas such as coast lines, but it also creates havoc in other parts. If you are into retro scenery as I am, here lies the problem. I got FTXGlobal Vector when it first came out and only recently made it part of my FSX install and after there last upgrade to v1.15. While it does allow to configure areas such as roads, bridges and airport elevation corrections and a few other things, it will mess up third party addons in some parts, extra objects seem to appear in the scenery that was never there to begin with. One would think that a simple un-install of this product would solve the issues but since this product basically re-writes default FSX objects from what I can tell and have yet to see or find a way to un-install, I'm left with having to re-install my retro FSX, not fun but I do have some backups. Since I have 3 FSX installs on my PC, all on external drives, I just will use FTXGlobal Vector for the modern day install for now. Even though FTXGlobal is not really geared towards a retro world, I have no problems with a modern day road system or anything else associated with the product and I'm still very happy with it. So, if you want a retro world, FTXGlobal Vector is not the way to go as far as I can see. My next ORBX purchase would of been the land class products, I think I will hold off.
